GETTING STARTED
Oragan Resort Full Day Safari Tour starts at 5.00 am and first we will take you to the ticket counter of Yala National Park. After paying for tickets, we will enter to the park at 6.00 am. After that our guides give their highest effort to show you very rare animals such as leopards, Bears and also Elephants, Birds, Dears ect. during the 12 hours nomadic time.

Breakfast will be served at 9.00 am and lunch will be served at 12.30 am. The special of these meals is our guides prepare fresh & perfectly your meals and take you to a seabeach or a river bank as your wish to brook the nature.

HALF DAY SAFARI PACKAGE

Depending on the tour start time, Oragon Resort Half Day Safari Packages are divided into 2 categories as Morning and Evening Safari for your convenience.

GETTING STARTED
Morning Half Day Safari Package will begin at 5.00 am in the morning & will be included in the breakfast too. The Evening Half Day Safari Package starts at noon and finishes at 6.00 pm in the evening. This package also includes evening delicious dishes to eat in front of a sea beach or a river bank with a great comfy with nature.

Tissamaharama Temple

Considered to be one of the largest and most important Buddhist places of worship in the entire island, the Tissamaharama Raja Maha Viharaya is a temple that is hard to miss due to the gargantuan stupa that stands at a height of 156 feet, easily making it the largest temple in the southern region. The temple is believed to date back all the way to the 3rd century BC, during the reign of King Mahanaga of Ruhuna, shortly after Buddhism was established in the island. However, it was King Kavan Tissa that made the temple to its present state in the 2nd century BC.

Kataragama

Kataragama (Sinhalese: කතරගම (katharagama), Tamil: கதிர்காமம் (katirkāmam)) is a pilgrimage town sacred to Buddhist, Hindu and indigenous Vedda people of Sri Lanka. People from South India also go there to worship. The town has the Ruhunu Maha Kataragama devalaya, a shrine dedicated to Skanda-Murukan also known as Kataragamadevio. Kataragama is in the Monaragala District of Uva province, Sri Lanka. It is 228 km ESE of Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka. Although Kataragama was a small village in medieval times, today it is a fast-developing township surrounded by jungle in the southeastern region of Sri Lanka.

Kirinda Beach Tour
